She serves as a dynamic leader in architectural lighting design, and her projects have received many national and international lighting design awards. Carrie is one of the Principals leading the marketing and business development at HLB Lighting. She recently developed and delivered a series of webinars on Sustainable Lighting Trends around the US as well as Well Building and Value Engineering seminars. Carrie is a professional member of the IALD, Co-Chair of the Women Principals Group of the Boston Society of Architects, and a recent past president of the Designers Lighting Forum of New England.

As an Associate Principal and Daylighting Practice Leader, Matthew leads our Austin, TX office and HLB’s Daylighting and Sustainability Design Studio. He manages the daylighting and electric lighting design for commercial and institutional efforts encompassing virtually every project type. Matthew is not only a passionate practitioner – he recently served as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Texas School of Architecture, where he taught an Environmental Controls course covering daylighting, lighting, and acoustics. He is also a Fellow of the Illuminating Engineering Society (IES), an Associate of the International Association of Lighting Designers (IALD), a Certified Passive House Consultant (CPHC) and a lifetime member of Passive House Alliance Unites States (PHAUS).
